Mr. Udaya R. Seneviratne

Mr. Udaya Seneviratne is a distinguished public administrator with an impressive career spanning over 37 years, marked by his multifaceted expertise in public service, business, management, finance, and the cooperative sector. As the former Secretary to the President of Sri Lanka, he played a pivotal role in the highest echelons of the nation's governance. His extensive service in various ministerial capacities underscores his commitment to advancing Sri Lanka's development. Mr.. Seneviratne has held key positions as the Secretary to the Ministry of Science, Technology & Research, Ministry of Mahaweli Development and Environment, Ministry of Highways and Investment Promotions, Ministry of Highways, Higher Education, Vocational Training and Investment Promotions, Ministry of Sugar Industry Development, Ministry of Productivity Promotion, and Ministry of Sports. In addition to these roles, he has also contributed as the Additional Secretary to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Finance & Planning, and Deputy Secretary to the Treasury, showcasing his broad understanding of national governance and financial management. Mr. Seneviratne's leadership extends beyond government ministries. He has served as the Director General of the National Institute of Cooperative Development and held the position of principal for the School of Cooperation, emphasizing his dedication to cooperative development and education.
